Historical Glimpse of Bala Tripura Sundari Bhagawati

Temple of Bala Tripura Sundari Bhagawati is located at Tripurakot V.D.C of Dolpa Districts,mid western of Nepal.I have tried my best to give historical glimpse of this famous temple.

At ancient time (before 1410B.S) there used to be Okhall1 at the place where temple exists now. During that time that Okhall was being used for unhusking the rice. The interesting part to be concerned was that Villagers used to get husked rice from unhusked rice from that Okhall. During the process of husking rice from Okhal1, villagers sometimes got Five Pathi of husked but uncooked rice from Two Pathi unhusked rice and sometimes One Mana of husked but uncooked rice from same Two Pathi of unhusked rice i.e. there exist the unknown multiplication or subtraction on their quantity of rice which villagers take to that Okhall for processing. Due to these interesting but unknown factors villagers become keen on knowing the reason behind this happening at Okhall. Then villagers excavated the area around Okhall. They used to work for the whole day and while coming next day for excavation work they observed no excavation which they have left incomplete day before at same place. There was no any sign of excavation. This make them compelled to work continually for whole day and night. Working full three days and nights they reached to depth of Okhall. While overturning the Okhall villagers observed Karai filled with ghee and over that hexagonal copper plate was placed on which nine butterflies were present.

During excavation work of Okhal1 one butterfly was hurt and changed into statue while villagers attempted to catch it. Among remaining Eight butterflies, five butterflies flied to different places and now they are established as a religious centre with different named as Kanika Sundari in Jumla district, Bagheshwori in Nepalgunj district, KhairaBang Bhagawoti in Salyan district, Tripureshwori Bhagawoti in Baitadi district and BadiMalika in Doti district. Three butterflies changed to statue while villagers attempt to catch them. Observing the transformation of butterflies to statue while attempting to catch them, villagers discussed about what to do next with those butterflies. But this happening was already dreamed by Kaji Bista, a villagers.He dreamed "we were nine sister of Durga Bhagawoti,villagers have to construct a temple at the place where there exist Okhal1 and do regular worship and prayer from Brahmin of Neupane Caste. In the next morning Kaji Bista discussed his dream with villagers and villagers constructed a small temple over the place of Okhal1.During that period Neupane castes Brahmin were not present on Tibrikot District. These have created problem and pressure in dwellers of Tibrikot. So they decided to call Brahmin from Jumla district. But fortunately Sukdev Neupane of Jumla along with a group were returning from Muktinath and stay at Bala Tripura Sundari Bhagawoti temple which lies on the way of muktinath to Jumla.Villagers realized to share the dream related to worshiping of Statute with Sukdev Neupane hoping to let him stay at temple as regular priest and villagers will manage all necessary properties (land, house,etc) for him to stay at Tibrikot. But group of Sukdev refused villager’s proposal and moved for Jumla. But one the way to Jumla from Tibrikot near the Temple there lies a river named Tamrawani. While crossing the river Sukdev and his groups were unable to see anything i.e, the blindness was developed on them, but as they attempt to return back to Bala Tripura Sundari Bhagawoti temple their blindness problem disappeared. They felt that this was effect of goddess Bala Tripura Sundari Bhagawoti. So Brahmin Sukdev Neupane decided to stay at temple as regular priest.
Up to till date regular worship and prayer are being done by Sukdev Neupane and his generations. Recently in the temple Bala Tripura Sundari Bhagawoti, Brahmini, Indrayeni, Vaisnavi, Barahi,Chamunda, Chandika, Astadal, AstaNaag, Queen Amrawati and Prince Badri Shahi of King Bikram Shahi are being worshiped.

Due to renowned exaltation of Bala Tripura Sundari Bhagawoti temple PithaDhis Universe Master Shree Shankaracharya of KacnhiKamakoti, INDIA had prayed and worshiped on this temple. Similarly Shree Khaptad Baba had received YOG SIDDHI from this temple. According to Shree Swosthani Bratakatha of Hindu religion "HIP"(Kundaulo) of SatiDevi had decayed at place where Bala Tripura Sundari Bhagawoti temple located. So this temple is one of the powerhouses of Hindu religious and worshiped as a focal point of faith till date.

Annually thousands of people from different culture and religion visit temple and worshiped with a great hope of fulfilling their wants and interest.

B.Sc. forestry

Recently i got result of my 4th semester, though i got good marks but i am not happy because at this time i should have my 5th semester's result in my hand.What to do?? Now preparing for 5th semester's exam.Pittyfull is that, upto now i havent got exam schedule.

We all know how important is time in this 21st century.If we become slow for a part of second only then we will be behind of millions and billions people.To compete with this extra talent world we have to be updated ourself and make ready for each competition but Institute of Forestry is ignoring this truth.

I dont wanna blame institute only, the main reason behind this is the unstable pilitical situation of Nepal and political activities inside institute.

We student are also responsible for delaying of exam and making 4 year B.Sc forestry of 4.5 to 5 years.

While we are in college we want free time and want a long gap forexam preparation but at same time we should remember that if our session becomes of 4.5 to 5 years then how back we will be in this competative world??

Strike for Prime Minister

Today is fourth day of general strike called by United Maoists Party of Nepal. Due to General strike whole Nepal is paralysed.Whole Nepali are confined within four wall of their room.Hospital are closed, banking sector is totally neutral,share markets is not active,no any financial transaction in big supermarket and business house. Corporate house are just calculating their loss due to this strike.Education houses are becomming a camp for cadres of Maoists.


Upto when this will continue we dont know but what we think is that this is not a right way.This is not a democratic way.

For Prime Minister, doing strike on road is not a democratic way.If now due to this Strike present Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal give resign and Maoists come in Government then this will give a very bad lession to the Whole World

As we all know that there are any rival groups in Terai, Himal,Pahad.All wants to be a leader in society and community.If now from road Maoists got Prime Minister then all will come in road and ask for Prime minister.

If this happened then we will be compelled to say Gyanendra again king because he can also make a whole Nepal paralysed and ask for kingship in Nepal.Then what will happen?Who will be responsible?Who will be there to answer this issue.

So at this critical time, all political parties should think in a diplomatic and democratic way.They should not think the present, should think past.They should understand that " it is not good to have profit now neglecting the loss in future".

Feelings of Nepalese Youth

Feeling of Nepali Youth

First of all I like say sorry for updating my blog after very long. I was trapped by many works and many exams. Within this period I finished my regular exam of B.Sc. forestry second year. At same time I also attained the exam of certificate course in disaster management under Indira Gandhi National Open University.
In between this period I saw many change in my life, my family, my society, my country and whole world.

Actually the worst thing I suffered in between this is the change that my beautiful country Nepal suffered.

Today I was just walking on footpath at Putalisadak street. I saw a group of motor bikers blowing horn loudly neglecting others right of silence. The forty to fifty bikers compelled the different showroom to close their door. Looking this I feel very bad. The unidentified wind starts to blow within me. The undetermined emotion start to pressure me. I couldn’t able to keep myself there for a long time.

Walking from there I remember one incident which I face few days ago at Sundhara.
The street was full of student and players from different college and club. Everyone were carrying a national flag of Nepal and chanting a slogans Together for Tourism, East West Nepal is Best..We Nepali welcome you all ..and many more…This was the day of official declaration of Tourism Year 2011.There were no traffic on street. Actually the situation was lovely. But suddenly I saw two policeman scolding one scooter riders. I crossed the long rally and reached to them. There I saw the scooter man was physically disabled. This scooter was not a normal scooter it was modified to make suitable for disabled person. As I asked other about reason then they said that the scooter was trying to cross the long rally disobeying the order of policeman. And policeman were scolding so badly to that scooter riders. At same time I saw many bikes were crossing rally. Policeman were not saying anything to them. Just they were busy scolding that disabled person. I feel very bad. The law is for all. It is not only for disable. I talk with police person to respect physically disable person. I feel this is my responsibility being physically able. All this activities happened just in front of the historic tower Dahara which was built by Bhimsen Thapa.I feel Bhimsen Thapa is watching this all. What he feels??.

The incident place was not so far from Sahit gate(martyrs gate).I feel what those great martyrs were feeling at that time watching such a activities of policeman who were there to keep law and order for all Nepalese People.

No Nepali can remain untouched from such activities. Recently a great media entrepreneurs of Nepal, Jamim Shah was killed while returning to home by some gangsters. Upto now police is unable to identified the real guilty. Few days ago again another media entrepreneur (Mr.Singhania) killed by another gangsters in Terai. Director of Bharatpur Medical college was lucky to save his life from bullet. These are all some representative incident that are happening in Nepal. These incident get National issue because those person were reknowned in society but there are so many incident which happen in daily life of general Nepali people in country side.

Above I discussed about some incident I feel. Though this are my personal feeling but being a Nepali youth my feeling represent the feeling of Nepalese youth.I remember the saying of Ex.Army Chief Mr.Rukhmanghat Katuwal”Tomorrow the sun will be more bright that that of today”. So we all Nepali youth are waiting for bright sun to rise in the peacefull Sky of Nepal.

We Nepali youth are living under the dark with hope of bright future of Nation. Once again the full form of Nepal (Never End Peace And Love) will come true. May peace prevail in World..
